SÚBITA COMPANHIA DE TEATRO

Súbita Theater Company is an ensemble of five Brazilian artists working together to create original and contemporary art. The Company is established in Curitiba – Paraná – Brazil.

We believe that physical training and creative collaboration are keys to find singular interests on the creation process, allowing the fluidity of expression from inside out.

We are committed and value the constant dialog with different art expressions and the creative exchange with national and international artists.

Maíra Lour – artistic director and actress of Súbita Theater Company. Teaches at Pé no Palco Theater School since 2002. Is also part of the collective for dance investigation IMP since 2007.

Janaina Matter – actress and artistic director of Súbita Theater Company. Teaches at Pé no Palco Theater School since 2006. Has specialized in physical training, mainly on Viewpoints and Suzuki techniques.

Juliana Adur – actress, dancer and choreographer of Súbita Theater Company. Directs the collective for dance investigation IMP since 2007 and teaches contemporary dance at Villa Arte Dance Studio.

Alexandre Zampier – actor and musician of Súbita Theater Company. Interested in physical training. Is composer, singer and musician of the band Trombone de Frutas in Curitiba, PR, Brazil.

Otavio Linhares – actor and musician of Súbita Theater Company. Has specific trained on dramaturgy and writing skills.
